William_ Posted May 16, 2020 Posted May 16, 2020 Hey! I hope it reaches someone from Serif. My point is that for a lot of us who exclusively use the Affinity Suite, there are such small things that when you need them, they seem like a pain in the ass. Today's example is the option to hyperlink text in Affinity Designer. It bothers specially since I've found other people asking for it even in 2016! So that'd be my request... That we do not end 2020 without the option to be able to hyperlink text in AD. Thanks. Quote
Staff Patrick Connor Posted May 16, 2020 Staff Posted May 16, 2020 @William_ Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums forum Some text features are reserved for Affinity Publisher and I don't know if this is one that will transfer to Designer or remain Publisher only Quote Patrick Connor Serif Europe Ltd Latest V2 releases on each platform Help make our apps better by joining our beta program! LazPL Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 This is such a simple feature and since you have already implemented it in Publisher it should be a simple thing to add it to designer. As it is now, I need a second piece of software to add hyperlinks to exported PDF documents. Seems to me that it should be a part of Designer! Quote
RobWu Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 Hi, Is this already possible in Designer for v.2.x?? Cannot find anything on this.... I -can- open the file in Publisher and add hyperlinks there, but it would be nice to have this functionality in Designer as well... rob Quote Windows 11 - 23H2 ⊕ ASUS PRIME X670E-Pro ⊕ AMD Ryzen 9-7900X ⊕ Arctic Liquid Cooler II ⊕ 64GB RAM ⊕ OS SSD Samsung 980Pro 2Tb ⊕ Cache SSD Samsung 870 EVO 1Tb ⊕ Video HD WD Blue 4Tb ⊕ Geforce RTX 3060 12Gb ⊕ BenQ SW270C ⊕ Dell U2412M ⊕ Affinity Photo 2.5.5 ⊕ Affinity Designer 2.5.5 ⊕ Affinity Publisher 2.5.5

Hyperlinks are still a function limited to Publisher, and my guess is that they will remain a Publisher-only function. Thanks. It is a bit silly though, as the PDF exporter does allow checking hyperlinks as a option from Designer. But workaround it is.....
