Hello guys,

I have search for the answer but I'm not able to find one.

I'm exporting the file enclosed for printing and there are print marks. I have upgraded from the past version where if the design was in Artboard and the picture inside was larger than the Artboard, then the print marks were overflown. As a result it was easy to not have small white parts at the end of the design for our print shop (as the color was overflown outside the Artboard area).

As of right now I'm not able to replicate this behaviour in any means

Can I do that in the current version of Affinity?

Thanks :)

Hi Pavel Kuba,

I'm not sure if I have understood your question fully please could you provide an example of what you are trying to do?

Thanks

Hello Callum,

Thank you for getting back to me.

The biggest problem is that I can't find a way on how to make print marks like in the past. The right part is the correct one, the left one export after the update.

Thank you for helping me.

Hi,

You need to check "Bleed" in your settings, and perhaps modify some of your presets if it's not checked in them (look at the options using the "more" button).

[edit] Oups, @MikeW replied and it didn't show in the tab while I was answering!

I would add to check the document properties to ensure there's bleed area defined too.

Bleed in the document setup is defined as 2mm.

Funny thing about the sample document is I cannot uncheck clip to artboard.

Maybe it's been too long since I've used AD, but it should be available.
