TDmah
Hello, Open the attached Affinity Photo (current customer beta) file and double click on the Levels Adjustment icon in the layers palette (in order to edit the adjustment). Click on Merge. Notice how the drop shadow effect is duplicated. Is this expected behaviour? Is this a bug? Regards, Travis Edit: I've now added the attachment. Staff MEB Posted July 29, 2015 Staff Share Posted July 29, 2015 Hi TDmah, Thanks for your report. For now use Merge Visible instead to create a new rasterised layer without the additional FX or disable the FX effect on the resulting layer for the other two commands (Merge Selected and Merge Down). If you do a Merge Selected or Merge Down, Affinity will merge the layers with the shadow effect rasterised and keeps the FX enabled, producing a "double shadow" effect. Issue logged to be looked at. TDmah
Ok, thanks MEB. Though I was actually talking about the Merge command at the top right of the Levels Adjustment Dialogue (those this may amount to the same thing as what you just said regarding the Merge Visible/Merge Selected on the Layer Palette).
