Skids Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 Hi, The Info panel allows a number of pixel samplers to be added and each can be selected to display different pixels and report in different value types e.g. LAB, RGB, CMYK, etc. It is also possible to swap between value types of a single sampler, for example between RGB and LAB. However, this requires a mouse click is discover both the RGB and LAB values of a selected pixel. I wonder if there is any way of having two or more samplers displaying the pixel values from a single pixel selection so that I can see both the RGB and LAB values of the pixel at a glance? best wishes Skids Quote
Old Bruce Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 Zoom way in and do this, Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.5.7 | Affinity Photo 2.5.7 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.7 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Any sampler can be set to any one of six types (or total ink) by clicking on its 3 circle icon above its arrow icon. You can also click on the four line menu icon at the top right of the Info panel & choose "Add New Sampler" to add as many samplers as you want to the panel. The panel can also be undocked & resized. So for example, this one includes 9 samplers, two of which have locked targets. My question is can the two (or more) locked targets be ganged together to show numeric data from the same pixel at the same time? Quote

That is the only way, that I know of. You create two samplers on the same pixel. Skids Posted May 15, 2020 Author Posted May 15, 2020 Curious, when I last read the thread the post from Old Bruce was missing. Thanks all for confirming that there is no option to gang info panels. Quote
