Fipo
Do you think it is possible to have a field that automatically generates me all the calendar dates of a year? Maybe I just start the numbering again every time because I'd like to do a diary...
GarryP
In Publisher you might be able to get something by using Section numbering but I’ve not tried this myself.
Ray S.
In Publisher you can add a field (Text/Insert/Fields/Date & Time), if this help you.
GarryP
The Date & Time fields only get you those specific dates and times – current, saved, etc. You can’t specify a user-generated or procedural value.
Ray S.
Ah ok, if I understand you right, this is only a readout of the date&time of the "system-clock". I haven't used this before.
GarryP
Date and Time is the current date and time when the field was created.Created Date is when the document was first created.Saved Date is when the document was last saved.Printed or Exported Date is when the document was printed or exported. You can change the formats of these in the Fields Panel but those are all we have, at the moment.
Murfee
Hi @feste, the only way at the moment is by using paragraph numbering, it’s not fully automatic but once set up it will only need a bit of manual work to update, this post might help. It will be really easy when data merging & linking is added, I am looking forward to this, I have a spreadsheet that I use that only needs a change in one cell to fully update the year including special dates.
