Agree. By the way: when experimenting with corner options I wonder why a Text Frame isn't allowed to get its corners modified. Although a text frame may be elliptical and also text wrap can flow around any shape – why shouldn't the text flow properly if its rectangular frames corner are any different than rectangular? Jeremy Bohn Posted April 15, 2020 Author Posted April 15, 2020 Either way, Serif should take note and possibly weigh in on this. After having to click on 20 boxes last night one at a time I was left shaking my head. Quote
nwhit Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 Agree that this should be sorted out. +1 Quote -------------------- New: 2023 Mac Studio M2 MAX 12-Core CPU/38-Core GPU 64GB Memory • 5k Studio Display • Sonoma Prev: 2020 iMac 27 i7 (5k Rez), 72GB, AMD Radeon Pro 5700XT 16GB • Sonoma MacBook Pro, 13", M1 2020 • 16 GB • macOS Sonoma iPad Air 2022

If you take a rectangle that already has rounded corners and convert it to a text frame, you can continue to adjust those corners after converting it. Based on that, I agree it is a rather strange omission that you can't round the corners (or bevel them or whatever) of an existing text frame that did not start out that way. I do hope this is fixed at some point. Jeremy Bohn and thomaso 2 Quote
Jeremy Bohn Posted April 17, 2020 Author Posted April 17, 2020 Agreed fed101, that is strange and seems like it wasn't quite thought through. Quote
