I have been using Nik collection and Topaz Denoise and Sharpen as plugins as late as a couple of hours ago with no problems I just opened another image and tried to access the plugins and they are no longer available. I have tried rebooting the computer and re-installing the plugins with no result. Is anyone else suddenly had this problem?

Why is the topic name RAM? Do you expect any memory problems?

I had to read the question a couple of times - it's part of the OP's name!  I don't use the Topaz plugins, so I've no idea what the problem is.

@CopaRAM, I think that you would attract some more responses to your problem if you used a meaningful title to your tgread. I would suggest: "Nik and Topaz Plugins no longer accessible".

What version of the Nik plugins are you using? Could you provide a screenshot of the Edit > Preferences > Photoshop plugins dialogue?

I assumed that it would be sufficiently obvious to all, and that this would show the absurdity of the title used.

Found the problem it seems I need to convert the file to a tiff or jpeg and all plugins are usable again. Seems strange but happy it's working Thanks guys I solved the problem myself, the reason for the strange name is that I thought I was putting up my own name

COPA, I cannot get any plugins to work with 1.83.

I have tried this a couple of different ways. Open Sony ARW raw file, make some basic adjustments and develop.

I have tried the background layer and a duplicate background layer.

Both ways, I access the Topaz Sharpen AI plugin and absolutely nothing happens.

What are you doing differently.

Hello brada, all I did was to revert back to my pervious workflow and process the RAW files in Photolab and export this to Affinity (as a tiff file) where I use Topaz and Nik Collection as pluggins. I now have no problems with either. Hope this works for you
