Powaysteve Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 Two times in a row Affinity Photo 1.8.3.641 has abruptly shut down when in the Develop mode and trying to use the red eye correction tool. This is on Windows 10, version 1909. Quote
Staff Chris B Posted April 16, 2020 Staff Posted April 16, 2020 Hey Powaysteve, Can you see if there are any crash reports from the time it crashed please? They can be found in: %AppData%\Affinity\Photo\1.0\CrashReports or %AppData%\Affinity\Photo\1.0 (Store)\CrashReports Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
Ascor8522 Posted June 5, 2020 Posted June 5, 2020 Got the same problem. Photo.exe crashes when the red eye correction tool is used and the selection box's width and/or height is 0px. The tool is working fine when the selection box is at least 1px tall/wide. The minidump file only shows a writing acces violation exception (0xC0000005). There is no other information available, like a backtrace or memory dump. Chris B 1 Quote

That's it! Thanks @Ascor8522 that is really helpful. I can now log this with the developers Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
