zypher69 Posted April 8, 2020 Posted April 8, 2020 Affinity Photo is a joy to use and allows me to create composite art that helps me stay sane during these uncertain times. SrPx, GarryP, AlainP and 10 others 13 Quote

Boghead Ben Posted April 11, 2020 Posted April 11, 2020 Yes, I can appreciate the time and effort. Compositing images is a bit like adult colouring in! A lot of kill, patience and even more skill required. zypher69 1 Quote

We start as children coloring in coloring books and then graduate to "composite art" as graphic designers during adulthood. Yes, this is true. Everything we've ever been taught comes into play in adulthood. Well, most of it anyway. Quote
JRam321 Posted December 19, 2022 Posted December 19, 2022 Where is a good place to start learning compositing? These images look amazing. Quote

YouTube has more than necessary to learn Compositing. Just do a search for Compositing, Composting Techniques, or Compositing in Affinity Photo…and should get hundreds of results to learn from. Even those in othe software like Photoshop would be fine, because the fundamental methods and techniques are the same, though there might be variations in terminology or more advanced applications between softwares. Overall, still relatively the same. Could start with the Affinity Tutorials by James …several of the others for tips. Quote
