Hi! I've been using the desktop version of  Affinity Designer for years, and I already bought the Ipad version. Unfortunately I have problems with pen pressure. I think I set everything properly but when I try to draw a line, it always starts with a little thick dot and only after that starting to realize the pen pressure so I can't draw a proper line. I attached a picture of my problem I use Ipad 10.2 2019 version and apple pencil.

It would be great if Affinity products had a preference that would allow you to test and adjust pen pressure as Procreate does.  I realize each tablet is different and tablets drivers are numerous; however, I hope they find a way to provide this capability.

Hi Csilla,

Unfortunately this is a known issue that is with development to be fixed. I will get your comments passed on to them. The pressure graph on the curves can be fixed to remove the spike at the start, which is causing the blobs.

It was also suggested that you use a rope stabiliser set to 1px as that apparently helps smooth the start.
