Ic3man Posted March 22, 2020 Posted March 22, 2020 Hey guys, not sure if this topic has already been brought up. All my brushes have disappeared in AP 1.8.2 update. Quote
Staff Chris B Posted March 22, 2020 Staff Posted March 22, 2020 Hey Ic3man, All the brushes or the categories have changed? We updated all the brushes in 1.8 but you can access the older brushes from here if you need them:https://affinityspotlight.com/article/get-legacy-affinity-brushes/ Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
Ic3man Posted March 22, 2020 Author Posted March 22, 2020 Oh sorry I wasn't clear with what my issue was. All my brushes that I've imported into AP over the years are no longer there. I've taken a snapshot for reference. There's normally a very long list of all my burshes in the drop down. This is all that's there now. (FYI I just imported the Frankentoon stuff just now.) Quote
Staff Chris B Posted March 31, 2020 Staff Posted March 31, 2020 Hey Ic3man, Can you go to the following and zip the folders up for me and upload them to this Dropbox link. This should not have happened...Mac App Store: \Users\username\Library\Containers\com.seriflabs.affinityphoto\ Affinity Store: \Users\username\Library\Application Support\Affinity Photo\ Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
Ic3man Posted March 31, 2020 Author Posted March 31, 2020 Ok in the process of doing so. They're both collectively 10GB so it's taking a while. Also. here's something that may or may not be an issue. There's no "\Users\username\Library\Application Support\Affinity Photo\" folder. There's only Affinity Photo Beta. (Same for Designer as well, only Beta). Should that be? Quote

You would have gotten the beta from the Affinity Store, and thus you would definitely have \Users\username\Library\Application Support\Affinity Photo Beta\. If you don't have the equivalent directory for Photo, the inference I would draw is that you bought Photo from the Mac App Store, and should be looking for the other path that Chris mentioned Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
