Václav Rojík Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 Hi, In the beta version of all programs I cannot resize the program window. Thanks Obrazovka_Trim.mp4
carl123 Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 The 1.8 apps require you to have Windows Ink switched on for pen pressure to work with your Pen/Tablet But it can also prevent you resizing/minimizing/maximizing the apps' windows If you don't need Pen pressure switch Windows Ink off. PS This fault also affects other apps when Windows Ink is switched on, not just Affinity apps, so there may be a generic Widows solution but as I don't need pen pressure I have not looked for one. Václav Rojík Posted March 6, 2020 Author Posted March 6, 2020 I turned off Windows Ink, but it didn't help. However, the stable version 1.8 works fine.

Staff Sean P Posted March 25, 2020 Staff Posted March 25, 2020 Hi Václav Rojík, Can you go to %AppData%\Affinity\Designer\1.0 (Beta)\Settings\ and paste the contents of your Window.xml file please? I've recently run into this and it seems only happen if the Window size is set to 1936 x 1056 and you're using a Windows Display resolution of 1920x1080 at 100% The section of the Windows.xml for me looks like this <Size> <Width>1936</Width> <Height>1056</Height> </Size> If I add or subtract 1 to these values then the frame appears correct when coming out. I'll get it passed on to development, but I'm interested to know what is changing the size to these values.
