Alan Sypher Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 I was elated to see that Pub. 1.8 can import IDML files from InDesign. I was chagrined to realize that all of my InDesign files are not IDML They are all INDD files. My ID version is v5. I do not have more current ID software such as a CC version. Does anyone know how to convert INDD files to the IDML format so I can import them into Publisher and say goodbye to InDesign? Quote
Fixx Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 You can export to IDML using InDesign CS5. You can probably even run a batch script to export them en masse. Quote
Joachim_L Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 5.1 does not offer IDML export I think, so I would advise to install a trial of current Indesign. Maybe some of the conversion scripts to IDML you can find in the web work with CC. Lately I used such a script in CS6 to batch convert all of my INDD files. MikeW Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 Only if I was ecclesiastically inclined. And at Mass. Joachim_L 1 Quote
