Paul Mudditt Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 Finally tracked down cause of PDF export failures, this is one for the developers. A simple test case, a single line, with Join set to Mitre and Mitre set to less than 1.00 will not export as PDF format. All other Export formats are OK. Changing the Join away from Mitre, or setting a mitre value > 1.00 allows the pdf export to proceed. DM1 Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 Worth noting that text still exports as 'curves' in PDF doc so cannot be edited. Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). Hi Dave, I probably shouldn’t have added the explanation text, its just a single straight line thats the problem. I have added the design file to the original post just containing the line. Your file definitely highlights that mitre < 1 is an issue. Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). Staff Sean P Posted March 3, 2020 Staff Posted March 3, 2020 Hi Paul, This is an issue we're already aware off. However it should not be possible to create a Mitre value of less than 1 within the application. This isn't possible on the desktop, but does seem possible on the iPad so I will get that reported. Annoyingly it also happens when importing an SVG (from Inkscape) that has a mitre of less than 1. Thanks for letting us know! Paul Mudditt 1 Quote
