Alan_B
Hi Murfee, Now I'm struggling to work out how to convert to 16 bit! Are you able to help with that too?
Murfee
Hi @Alan_B, If your document is already developed you need to go to Document>Convert Format/ICC Profile and change to 16 bit. If you are in the Develop Persona you need to go to the Assistant in the Context Toolbar and change the RAW output format, you will then need to close the image and reopen for the change to take place. Alan_B
Once again, much appreciated Murfee. Everything is working now. I would never have worked all that out without your help. Kind regards, Alan Murfee

Ajay
Hi I was trying install the NIK plugins today after downloading their NIK23 pack which is on promotion for new launch. Is this version not compatible with AF1.8.3? I get following screen. Notice the folder is taken but on left none of the plugs are installed. Plz suggest solution. Staff MEB Posted June 4, 2020 Staff Share Posted June 4, 2020 Hi Ajay, Welcome to Affinity Forums Using Finder go to the path you have set up in the Plugin Search Folders section (in your case according to the screenshot above is: Applications/Affinity and Adobe Photoshop Plug in folder/ then check if you have any files or folders inside that folder? If everything was installed correctly you should find a folder named DxO there and inside that folder various folders with the name of each plugin of the Nik Collection. Can you check this please? If nothing's there the plugins files were not installed to that custom folder and that's why they are not working for you. Note: if you have Photoshop installed (and despite the plugins not being installed to a custom folder) you can still use them poiting to the Photoshop plugin folder instead since the Nik installer detect Photoshop as a supported host and install the plugin files automatically for it.
