I bought a new iMac and re-installed Affinity Publisher, Designer and Photo. I already had them installed on my MacBook Pro and they all work fine. After reinstalling them on the new iMac the Designer iCloud folder and Photo iCloud folder both have synced so that I can access all my work but the Affinity Publisher folder was missing. I double checked my Finder on the MacBook and the Affinity Publisher folder is still there and still has my work in it but when I go back to the Finder on the iMac it is not present. For some reason it is not syncing. I realize this could be more an iCloud problem rather than an Affinity Publisher problem. I created a test document in Affinity Publisher and saved it, after which an Affinity Publisher folder appeared in the iMac Finder along side the Designer and Photo folders with the test document present. However, underneath the test document it is still showing that it is uploading and has been like that all night. I have been downloading and uploading other files to iCloud via the new iMac and so I know my iCloud is working but seems stuck with Affinity. Any ideas what could be causing this?

I think you found the answer right there. I have encountered these kinds of iCloud Drive sync issues myself with various folders. I still pay for iCloud storage, but I have been disappointed how unreliable Apple's own integrated solution is when my Dropbox syncing has never failed me.

I'm sorry I don't have a helpful answer. Someone else may be able to point you to a way to get it to resync, but I thought I would let you know that these things do happen with iCloud.

Sorry.

Thank you for reporting a problem using 1.7.x . It appears that a member of the Affinity QA team didn't get round to fully investigating this specific report posted in the bugs forums. We are very sorry for this oversight. Yours is one of a number of reports that I am posting this apology to, using an automated script.

Now we have released 1.8.3 on all platforms containing many hundreds of bug fixes, and we hope your problem has already been fully addressed. If you still have this problem in the 1.8.3 release build, then the QA team would really appreciate you reporting again it in the relevant Bugs forum.

Each of those links above contains instructions how best to report a bug to us. If that is what you already did in this thread just copy paste your original report into a new thread. We appreciate all the information that you have including sample files and screen shots to help us replicate your problem.

This thread has now been locked as the QA team are not following the threads to which this automatic reply is made, which is why we would appreciate a new bug report if you are still have this problem in the current 1.8.3 release build.
