AlainP
Right after installation of the new beta 1.8.165 I opened an image (jpg) from my iCloud. Photo crashed right away without any message. It displayed a "send to developer" message box that I filled and sent. I restarted Photo once more and the file opened fine. But I notice I then had a copy of the file with "rgb" appended to the filename. Shut down Photo, deleted the "_rgb" file and reopened the same file again. This is a photo taken with my phone. Since then no problem with any file. -- Window 11 - 32 gb - Intel I7 - 8700 - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 -- iPad Pro 2020 - 12,9 - 256 gb - Apple Pencil 2 -- iPad 9th gen 256 gb - Apple Pencil 1 -- Macbook Air 15"
Staff Chris B Posted February 19, 2020 Staff Share Posted February 19, 2020 Hey AlainP, That's odd—I've just had a go with build 165 and 166 and it was fine. I can try with the image from your phone if you want to attach it but I can't think what would be special about it. AlainP
Just installed build 166 and it worked perfectly on the first time, I didn't see what happened yesterday. I don't know if it's me but 166 seems faster to open my files. Thanks for your work.
