andye
Hi, I have just installed Affinity on my new iMac. When I open an image it doesn't show in the editing screen but I can see it in the navigator window. I can paint over where the image should be and I can see the changes in the navigator panel. But nothing on screen! Thanks for any help.

Staff Dan C Posted February 16, 2020 Staff Share Posted February 16, 2020 Hi andye, Welcome to the forums I've seen something similar happen previously with Metal Hardware Acceleration enabled. If you open Affinity Photo>Preferences>Performance and untick Hardware Acceleration, then restart the app when prompted and re-open your image. Is it now displayed as expected? Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time. Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible. Many thanks!
