iaing Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 Moving a text-wrap object over text leaves ghosts or echoes in its wake - left half of video is Publisher 1.7.3, right half is beta 1.8.0.549 - sometimes doing this causes a crash, though it's not consistent. Have tried with filler text and placed text, same results. Herojas93 Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 Same happens here. Build 1.8.0.523 also works fine. Same thing happens to me with exporting PDF. Actually I'm exporting files using build 523. Builds 531, 535 and also 549 gives me problems. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/105468-pdf-exporting-issue/

Staff Patrick Connor Posted March 15, 2020 Staff Posted March 15, 2020 We have made fixes/improvements to this area (Redraw issue with text moving object around with text wrapping ) of the program in the latest customer beta. If you would like to try these changes the beta software is available in the forum posts listed below. The latest beta builds are downloadable from links at the top of each of these beta forum posts. Affinity Publisher 1.8.2.619 for Windows Affinity Publisher 1.8.2.619 for Mac These betas install parallel, next to the release version (they do not overwrite your release) and so the fixes can be tried in the beta without affecting your normal workflow in the release version. Once these programs have been through a full beta process the change will be released in a future free 1.8.1/1.8.2 update/patch to all customers.
