I purchased this and got a new computer and now its making me pay again

I purchased this already and then got a new computer and now its making me pay again. kind of pissed because I already paid the $50...so now what do I do? I have it on my iPad and that still works with my Apple ID but for some reason not on my new iMac with my Apple ID

You need to buy a separate Windows or Mac version to install on a desktop or an iPad version to install on the iPad. Each version is purchased independently and each has its own licenses.

Did you change from Windows to Mac?  If not and you had previously purchased MacOS Desktop version, the download should be available using same Apple ID.  As stated above, iPad and Desktop are two separate purchases and cannot be transferred from Windows to Mac or Mac to Windows.

From the initial post, yostin has it on iPad and wants it to also work on Mac. That requires a separate purchase, as SFurniss said.

I understand that Walt but he also started the conversation stating he purchased a new computer and paid $50 for AP.  He did state he had it on iPad, which as I recall, did not cost $50.  He did not state in his OP if new computer replaced old PC/Mac or even if he had a computer, but out of concern that he replaced an old Mac, with new one and actually paid $50, I just provided info.
