paaljoachim Posted January 17, 2020 Posted January 17, 2020 Hi I am on a Mac and not able to detach a document. I did an online search and found this thread. It would be great to mention here in the thread how one detaches a document from the main window on a Mac . How does one detach a document on a Mac? Thanks. ------------- EDIT: I found the Window -> Separated Mode. It separates all the documents. I also noticed the Merge All Windows. It was not what I was looking for. I would like the regular/default Window and to be able to just drag a document window out from that. Perhaps just add a attach/detach option inside the Windows menu and above the Separated Mode? EDIT 2: I just realized that this is in the wrong thread to rise the above question. Please just move it over to where you would like it. Thanks Quote
Dan C Posted January 17, 2020 Posted January 17, 2020 Hi @paaljoachim, Welcome to the forums I've moved your thread to the Feature Request section of our forums as it's better suited here - please note this means you're no longer 'following' the thread, meaning you won't be notified of replies. You can change your follow settings in the top right of this thread - 1 hour ago, paaljoachim said: It separates all the documents. I also noticed the Merge All Windows. AFAIK Separated Mode is the only way to achieve this currently, for this reason I've moved the thread to the Feedback section of the forums for our devs to see and consider! paaljoachim 1 Quote
Fixx Posted January 17, 2020 Posted January 17, 2020 Separated mode is nice but it tends to lose bars and panels in multiple monitor systems (Mac)... paaljoachim 1 Quote
paaljoachim Posted January 17, 2020 Author Posted January 17, 2020 Thanks Dan! @Dan C I come as so very many others from the world of using Photoshop. From what I have seen and also tested. I can now stop using Photoshop and go with using Affinity Photo. Hey Fixx. @Fixx Yeah I noticed the same thing when using separated mode. I also uploaded an image to show people what it looks like. ps I uploaded a full size screenshot of the desktop. I did not down scale it. It might be a good idea that the forum software here down scales huge images. Dan C 1 Quote
