Any way to save Brush Color and Stroke Width

Hi Friends! 

I am absolutely loving using Affinity Designer - and am wondering if anyone with more experience than me knows if this is possible. 

For example, I want to consistently use the same size and color when using a specific watercolor brush. Is there any way to save those settings to the brush? (So I don't have to select the same color and remember the exact brush width each time).

As far as I'm aware there is no way to do this I'm afraid.

Would a user-defined pixel brush do what is needed here?
I have a brush set called “FLOWER POWER”, that I got from somewhere (can't remember where), that has coloured pixel brushes.
Maybe something similar would work, possibly after some experimentation.

Thank you both for the replies! I realized that when you save a brush (by this I mean when you duplicate an existing brush and then alter its properties, such as size) that new brush does in fact default to that size you set. 

It looks like there is no way to have a brush default to a specific color - but I can get around this by just making a custom palette!

Need this. Should be a simple toggle. Is there anywhere to request stuff like this? I switch between brushes all the time and everytime I switch I have to go back and change the width. I love affinity because it seems to have less friction so having a kink like this in the work flow is really bothersome. If I am doing precise work - hand lettering etc, I have to put the width back manually and precisely everytime.
