Paradise33 Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 Just noted that the EXIF metadata for keywords xmp.dc/description/description/0 and author xmp/dc/creator/creator/0 are not being read by this beta version 1.8.0.526. The version 1.7.3.481 is working correctly.
Staff Patrick Connor Posted January 10, 2020 Staff Posted January 10, 2020 Thank you for your report. The metadata (was EXIF) panel contains lots of new code and I understand that this has already been found internally and fixed in the new Affinity Photo beta on mac. Consequently this will be fixed in the next 1.8.0 Windows beta. Please can you try this again in the next beta. If so then yes. It would be useful to have fields that understand they are displaying the metadata for a particular image or picture frame contents. I saw a request to enhance Picture Frames to include captioning information on various sides of the image, populated from the metadata of the image that is inside the frame. -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
