Guzzi Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 Hi! Some time ago I had to change my email address. Three weeks ago I bought a new PC and had to reinstall all programs. I was initially unable to download AP because my old email address was still saved at Serif. On December 16 v.J my new email address was accepted. Kind regards, Steven " After reinstalling AP 1.7.3.481 and AP BETA 1.8.0.526, I found that under -> Preferenes-> Miscellaneous myold email address x.xxxxx@tele2.at is still there. It cannot be changed here. However, this address is dead and if someone writes to it, the post will not arrive. I think this topic would be better in Customer Service, Accounts, and Purchasing and perhaps a moderator will move it. However, I do not think you have a problem. No one will be writing to you at that old email address. It is merely the address associated with your downloaded product, and specifically with the product key that validates the product after installation. That address cannot be changed, as it would require regeneration of the product keys, and possibly regeneration of the downloads themselves, and I do not think Serif has a way to do that. For any email communication Serif would use the address on the account, which is your new address. Staff stokerg Posted January 6, 2020 Staff Posted January 6, 2020 Hi Guzzi, @walt.farrell is correct with his answer. But don't worry, we won't send any emails to that address, it's only used so we can track crash reports a little easier. Quote
