Powaysteve Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 Does anyone have trouble with the keystroke (ALT-backspace) for Inpainting on Windows 10? The keystroke does nothing yet the inpainting tool works perfectly when selected from the toolbar. I even went into Preferences and changed the keystroke to something else and it still does not work. has anyone gotten a keystroke to work for the inpainting tool? This is in the latest version of Photo. Thanks Quote
Gnobelix Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 Hello @Powaysteve, I wish you a happy new year. The shortcut J is set by default for the Inpainting tool, likewise for the Red Eye Removal Tool, the Healing Brush Tool and the Patch Tool. The individual brushes are activated by repeatedly pressing the shortcut Shift + J I hope it helps. ALT-backspace is the keystroke for the Edit > Inpaint command Which is used when you have made a selection and wish to Inpaint whatever is in that selection Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum.
