Border/bounds will not go away

I was working on Affinity Designer and must have gotten a little carried away when I dragged an image file into the program. Before doing this, the border/bounds of my image were transparent. Now, any image I create is surrounded by an immovable white border and I cannot figure out how to get rid of it. Please help!

Welcome to the forums

Please could you go to File > Document Setup > Bleed and try removing any bleed you have set there?

I just tried it and it did not work.

Please could you try opening the app with the CTRL key held down and when the reset menu appears click Select All then Clear to see if this solves your issue?

This did not help either. The margin lines appear as blue. The lines that appear on my screen are white.

I’ve been unable to replicate the problem.
Would it be possible for you to give the exact workflow you used to create the document we see in your original image?
It’s all important but, specifically, how you made the Pixel layer black.
