Exporting a Tiff file from Capture NXD to Affinity photo -  after editing I saved it as a Affinity file, after opening the panorama menu it wont locate any affinity files, it finds all other formats, tiffs, NEF and JPEG but not the saved Affinity file and not JPEGS that have been exported from affinity- what am I doing wrong?  I can locate all these files via the affinity menu but not through the panorama menu

In the Affinity Photo - Panoramas video tutorial beginning at around 0:20 @James Ritson mentions the file types that can be used for panorama stitching. At 0:32 he says you can use "Affinity document files," but this seems not to be true -- at least on my iMac all .afphoto, .afdesign, & .afpub files are greyed out in the add files window & can't be added to the file list.

However, I have no problems adding JPEGs (or TIFFs) exported from Affinity to the add files list, so I do not know why you cannot do that.

Unfortunately the above here is correct, you cannot use Affinity Photo documents to stitch a panorama and this is a known issue with this video - AFAIK James already has this noted and is hoping to correct the error in the future.

You should however be able to use any image format that you can open in Affinity, such as JPEG, PNG, TIFF etc. I hope this helps!

@Dan C Until the video is amended, a footnote to the video just below the description wouldn't go amiss, this would avoid confusion.
