Photo Persona Info Panel Color Sampler Loses Position

Recipe:

1. In the Publisher Persona, create a new document, facing pages, 1 page, start on left. (Other configurations will recreate the problem; this is perhaps the simplest one to see it.)
2. Place a photo on that page.
3. Switch to the Photo Persona, and switch to the Info panel. Place a couple of samplers on the image. For example, like this:
   
4. Switch back to the Publisher Persona. In the Pages panel, add 1 page before page 1.
5. Switch back to the Photo Persona. Note the position of the color samplers now:

I think the samplers are on the spread rather than the photo so they wont move with the photo. In some cases they move onto an incorrect page which I've logged

Thanks, Paul. I think you're right.

By the way, I also had a scenario where I had a single page on the right, then added 2 pages after it, and saw the samplers move into the blank workspace to the left of page 1.

We have made fixes/improvements to this area (Photo Persona - Samplers move in facing page documents
) of the program in the latest customer beta. If you would like to try these changes the beta software is available in the forum posts listed below.

The latest beta builds are downloadable from links at the top of each of these beta forum posts.

• Affinity Publisher 1.8.0.535 for Windows
• Affinity Publisher 1.8.0.535 for Mac

These betas install parallel, next to the release version (they do not overwrite your release) and so the fixes can be tried in the beta without affecting your normal workflow in the release version.

Once these programs have been through a full beta process the change will be released in a future free 1.8.0 update/patch to all customers.
