Gigatronix Pete
Hey gang Am looking to try & get a stamp effect similar to the one attached ..done with circles of colour vectors, then rasterized & then brushes with blend mode set to erase. I would like to make the cracks transparent but more pronounced and still in vector mode & can't seem to do that with the brushes ...any ideas? In an AD doc with a transparent background and vector brushes this should already work without rasterization. v_kyr
There are also third party vector brushes you maybe can use instead to get a similar effect, like for example ... https://www.retrosupply.co/products/the-vector-brush-toolbox-for-affinity-designer Other than that you can tryout if possibly things like a geometric subtract of some brush layers would give a similar looking result or not. I meant it this way: - I have Logo/Stamp, - and suitable textured image. - Clipped image to Logo/Stamp, - correct position and adjust image, Of course, you can create an texture image yourself, and it can also be partially transparent. I didn't understand exactly your request, but I guess you're looking for something more vector-based, this works with a bitmap texture. firstdefence
If you want 100% vector don't use a brush barring the basic brushes they are not pure vectors, they are raster patterns on a vector curve. You could create a vector texture by manually drawing all the lines with the basic brushes and editing the pressure of the stroke if you don't have a tablet or you could find an eps texture file and change the fill to white or subtract the eps texture from the shape.
