  1. Hey everyone! It would be very helpful if, when using tools, all of the UI, except for the icon on the top right that lets users enable the UI again, could be automatically hidden. There could be a timer, which shows the UI again after a period of time. The amount could be set in settings. Procreate has this automatic full screen mode and it's very useful. Best wishes, Shu
  2. In the list view of the swatches pane any new swatch gets an auto-name with its defined values. Unfortunately these names don't auto-change when the color definition got changed by the user. This results in wrong swatch names, both for global and non-global swatches. To avoid wrong names the user has to rename any swatch manually after changing its color. To fix the name it needs several clicks to the manual renaming option window. Suggestions: – auto-change a swatch name when its color definition got changed – enable renaming on double-click the swatch name p.s.: in the actual renaming option window a hint appears: "This is not an undoable operation." – Why does it warn me that I can undo this operation?
  3. I have sent the developers of Font Explorer X a request to develop plugins for Affinity Designer, Photo and Publisher but I need your help if we want to see this happen. Font Explorer is an application that auto-activates fonts for applications, and is a must have for designers who use hundreds of fonts. Please contact Font Explorer and let them know you are interested in there being a plugin for Affinity products. They have developed plugins for Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop and they work really well. However, they will not develop a plugin for Affinity unless we show there is a demand for plugins. The developers of Font Explorer X can be reached here: twitter @FontExplorerX web http://www.fontexplorerx.com/contact email: info@fontexplorerx.com Thanks everyone!
  4. Hello, is it possible to automatically align layers or photos? For example if I have 3 photos with 3 different exposures which I shot handhold, so the photos differ slightly. Is there a way to align the photos? There doesn't seem to be the possibility to make an HDR, will it be implemented in the future?
  5. Hi, could it be possible to add some button for Leves adjustments eg. "Auto" or "Max" or "Auto-Max" which would move Black and White Level (separately) to the max till there is Zero value on the histogram. It is hard to check from the histogram the Zero values not to loose information. Sometimes it would be very useful ;) Thanks Jindra
  6. Affinity's constraints feature is great, but limited. I just stumbled upon something that would make our lives so much better: http://westonthayer.com/writing/2016/07/27/layout-experiments-in-adobe-illustrator/ It's even open source: https://github.com/WestonThayer/Bloks Please Affinity MAKE IT HAPPEN! EDIT: I just played around a bit and (although working with Illustrator again is a real pain when you are used to Affinity Designer) the principle of "Bloks" is pretty awesome. Unpolished and incomplete but awesome.
  7. Hello, When stitching panoramas from RAW files (or from TIFF files), Affinity Photo irreversibly blows out the highlights in clouds for me. I've checked the individual files, and they have detail in the clouds. However, after the "render panorama" step, they become clipped. If there was a curve editor in the Panorama stitching mode, this would be easy to solve. I've attached two files with a demonstration.
  8. The Auto Distribute options under Arrange panel is disabled. I am not sure if I am doing something wrong, or if this is a bug. How do I enable it? I am using the free trial v1.4 i believe on OS X 10.11.3. Kindly help.
  9. The idea here would be to be able get as close as possible to Real-time embedded document editing, but with assets which are being used outside Affinity, like for example in web pages. This could be accomplished by reducing as much as possible the friction in exporting, and automating it as much as possible. More specifically, it would be possible to re-export all the selected slices which were previously exported, with just a single click or keyboard shortcut, without extra dialogs to select the path, and without having to switch to the export Persona. In addition to that, the user could select an event which would trigger the export automatically, like for example, when the document is saved, or when Affinity designer app loses focus. This would allow to further reduce the costs of iterating between Affinity and the final destination where the assets are being inserted and used. This functionality can be mostly seen in action already in photoshop with the help of one of the following tools: Slicy PNGHat Adobe Generator
