    Fuji XT3 RAW Crash

Hello, I am new to Affinity Photo on the IPad, but i am very satisfied with the functionality. I Have one Problem. When I try to load an Raw Image from my Fujifilm XT3 Affinity Photo says Loading and then crashes. Apples Raw Converter should work with uncompressed RAF Files. Is there a solution for this Problem? My IPad is a Pro 10.5 with IOS 12 Thanks Tom
  2. Hi I am Affinity Photo user v 1.6.5.135 and I have noticed that when importing a Fujifilm raw file (RAF), the original image size (document size) is altered when importing such file in Affinity. For example: an original fujifilm RAF file of 4896x3264px is automatically imported as 4934x3296px file size document. I still have to manually type the correct pixel size of the document when exporting the edited image. Though, no issues when importing fujifilm jpg file format. Please find attached screenshot. Thank you.
  3. Hello, my system: iMac, Intel Core i7, 3,1 GH, RAM: 16 GB camera: brand new Fuji X-T30 affinity photo 1.6.7 all assistant options inactive on start raw engine: serif labs It takes about 20 seconds to open a file. My Canon raw files are ready in 2 seconds... Any ideas or updates in the pipeline? Thx!
  4. I everyone and I Affinity Support Team, I just bought a new Fujifilm XT-100. I can't open the RAF file in Affinity Photo (latest release for MacOs 1.6.7). I had no issues using my old Nikon D3200. No way, I can see only a white vertical stripe. No images. What's the problem? Thank you
  5. The screen shot is how many of my files, browsed and opened from FRV are opening in Affinity Photo 1.6. They open the same way from Finder or off my desktop. Pixelmator and Photo open them OK.. but if I try and open in Affinity from Photo I get the failed image. Any suggestions. At the moment I am managing to edit what is needed in Pixemator but cannot continue as workload rises.
  6. As you can see in my signature my Mac Hardware is getting to 'that' age. Affinity Photo quite often responds slowly (slower than I expect it to). Upgrading my setup is a likely cure but - you know what comes next - financially challenging. Originally AP proved to run snappily enough but now goes down regularly (Raf raw files). I have enquired of this site and Serif as to the reason for this with no success. So opinions please. Will a substantial updating eg. iMac 27" maxed out be the solution or is there a mid price option that can do the job. I do know the old adage of top of the range lasts longer but nowI have reached the final upgrade point that seems a little like 'fuzzy logic'. I do not intend moving from Fuji so it is the Raf file handling that is the main ball of contention. Will Serif sort that that for me and the Fuji users or is it just more grunt needed? Confused question, I know but if it wasn't I probably would not be asking it! All responses gratefully received.
  7. The final bomber in the series.
  8. Hi! It would be really great to have support for RAW-files (*.raf) from the new Fujifilm X-T100 in near future! I know that ther is a possibility to convert to Adobes DNG and import that into Affinity, but this makes the workflow complicated. Thanks and best regards, dh
  9. I'm writing with an issue I've noticed for importing RAF files from a Fujifilm X-S1, which employs the EXR-CMOS, which has a non-traditional orientation, similar to the SuperCCD layout. Affinity Photo imports my 12MP RAF files as 6.11MP (2848x2144 RGBA/32) instead of the native 12.00MP (4000x3000 RGBA/32) it should be. These same RAF files are read properly by Win10 Photos and SilkyPix (Fuji's bundled RAW software). Thanks! X-S1_RAF_JPEG_Sample.7z
  10. Hi, I just want to know when are you releasing an update support for Fujifilm Lossless Compressed raw .RAF file. I just bought an Ipad pro 10.5" and purchased Affinity Photo, I didn't know it wasn't supported yet. thanks
  11. Hi When loading GFX50s RAF file into the Develop Persona the left side is missing about 450 pixels and the right side has a black rectangle where I would expect image, also it looks like the image size is wrong. This is a screen capture of my desktop. Notice: In Affinity Photo: missing pixels, the black strip and at the top the decoded picture size. In the right (explorer): no black strip and see the picture size. The original picture (RAF and decoded TIFF in other software) show 8256x6192, where AP is showing it as 8280x6208. This is a screen capture of just the black strip zoomed all the way so it is showing where the image data ends and the width of the black strip. Here is the RAF file to duplicate the problem: RW007722.zip (73MB) Thx Rob
  12. On the selection panel opened by File/Open menu, it does not show a preview of embedded JPEG in the RAF file (FUJI RAW). It should ! Otherwise I just can guess what image I am about to open or I need to check in another program, what image relate to a specific file name.
  13. I have updated to Affinity Photo 1.6.6 and I am unable to open Fujifilm X-T2 RAF files. I am running macOS 10.12.6 Sierra, and I have tried both the Apple (Core Image RAW) and the Serif Labs RAW Engines. Other RAW processing software is able to open these RAF files without issue. This is a popular camera which has been on the market since April 2016. I have only been able to edit/adjust X-T2 JPEG files using Affinity Photo. I would have thought that Affinity Photo/Serif should have been able to deliver RAW support for this particular Fujifilm RAF by now. Do you have a solution, or when will Serif be able to provide X-T2 RAF support?
  14. ...while in RAW editing mode causes it to exit this mode without a prompt to save changes or develop photo, meaning I've lost a lot of work...WAIL! Appreciate it may not be isolated to just RAW edit mode as I've read a similar post regarding Liquify(?) mode also being affected with this double-tap Apple Pencil problem. Hope to see a fix soon as apart from this it's definitely an amazing app and loving the ability to edit my Fuji X100T RAF files on the go. Much love x
  15. Hi I purchase an ipad pro and excited to download and use Affinity photo. Upload a few images to google drive and try to open on ipad. The file appeared dimmed and not able to opened. I have some read and said for xt2 raw file it is ok to open uncompressed RAW but not compressed. For XE-2 I cannot locate a setting from menu that related to that. Anyone have any idea about XE-2? Seem like it didn't have the option is that mean that XE-2 file are not compressed. So why it cannot be opened? Very disappointed at this stage. Hope someone can give a hand. Much appreciated.
  16. Will the new Affinity Photo for the iPad develop RAW files from a Fuji X-T1 and/or X-T2?
  17. I am using a 2012 MacBookPro with OS X 10.8.5 I do not want to update my OS as I am then forced to use Adobe Cloud LR and PS, which I do not want to do. I am trying to move away from LR6 and CS6 and am working more and more on AP. My one challenge with AP 1.5.2 is that my Fujifilm (RAF) and Canon (CR2) RAW files load very slowly in AP. It takes approximately 35 seconds to open a RAF file, and a further 15 seconds to get it into the Develop Persona. A RAW file opens in about 15 seconds and another 5 seconds for Develop Persona. The CR2 file opens immediately in CS6, so it cannot be the Macbook. I cannot open the RAF file in SC6 as my version of SC6 do not recognise the RAF files. Any suggestions to help speed up the process will be very helpful and will be greatly appreciated.
  18. I have read a number of question and answers on the subject of Fuji raw. files lens correction etc., but would like (before I buy into Fuji XT2) a bit of assurance as to AP's capabilities and stability. Thank you in advance. Regards. Sharkey
  19. Dear all, I am very happy to see AFFINITY so much advanced since my last trial. As we all know, right now there's no good RAW-converter for the FUJIFILM GFX 50S RAF files. Affinity 1.5.2 is opening the files and one can do adjustments - Unfortunately the image is shifted to the left side by some 400 px or so. How fast can this be fixed? Knowing this will be vital to many of us deciding to buy the software. Best Regards, Peter
  20. hi affinity, Noticed this morning that my fuji raf files from my xt2 are not loading with fuji in camera lens correction - is this something that could be addressed or has it been reviewed already? I understand fuji apply lens corrections in camera... Got the shock of my life looking at my out of camera .raf files compared to out of camera .jpegs!!!
  21. Seit heute kann ich keine Raw-Dateien (Fuji-RAF-File) mehr laden. Photo zieht sich unendlich viel Speicher und bricht dann ab.
  22. The default exposure is too dark when raw file created by Fuji XT-1 with 4.3 firmware. The exposure has to be +2 to normal range. The same can be displayed correctly in ACR and mac preview app.
  23. Hi, I just bought Affinity photo. It always crashes when opening raf file created by Fujifilm XE-2 4.0 firmware. I google this issue and change the developing engine to apple. But the image is too soft by apple engine. I wonder when Affinity photo can release the raw engine for xe-2 4.0 firmware. Thanks. Eric
