  1. Having trouble saving or closing files or returning to the Affinity Gallery, I’ve discovered the following: This usually occurs after a shared asset or drive is shut down After exactly 1 minute the app may start responding Saves maybe almost immediate but app hangs for 1 minute after the save If the connection to the shared drive is killed from the iPad file manager after loosing the connection, the app seems to behave normally. See image below, when share is turned off at source, iPad maintains share like its still there. It appears the app times out after 1 min, but when I tried to open a .afphoto file from file manager it waited 1 minute then after that it displayed the message “Downloading” wait another minute then the file opened. The file was local and should open immediately. Closing the connection not so easy, I start to open new connection (but cancelled), after that it killed the old one. When still connected can kill connection by clicking on blue icon but doesnt work (maybe I didnt wait for a programatic time out).
  2. It seems to me that if while using the iPad AP, the internet connection is lost or a shared drive becomes unavailable, iPad file management seems to hang. If working on a file in AP when this happens, can no longer save even if file is local on My iPad, wheel just spins forever.
  3. I am running version 1.10.1 of Publisher on a Windows surface book 3. When I go to the "My Account" to download addons I can successfully download an addon but after the green tick mark appears when I click on the close button the application hangs (window and task manager show "not responding". After waiting 10-20 minutes I had to force the app to close. I have tried other addons and each appears to do the same thing. I have been successful in downloading the same addon in Affinity Designer (1..10.1) and all was fine there. Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a fix/workaround? Cheers, Jamie
  4. My affinity photo hangs and does not recover while making curves adjustment. I was following the steps mentioned in following tutorial to adjust skin tones. https://affinityrevolution.com/color-correct-skin-affinity-photo-tutorial/ While adjusting the red channel affinity photo hangs. CPU usage during hang. Even after waiting for 5 minutes affinity photo doesn't recover. Affinity Photo Version: 1.9.2.1035 Windows Version : Windows 10 - OS Build 19042.867 I am trying to create a repro for this issue, by that time can any one confirm of there are any known issues with version? Thanks.

I am using the latest MacOS (Big Sur 11.2.3) and the latest Affinity apps and had a crash after which I am no longer able to startup any Affinity app. They hang and also make the Mac finder hang! I have never needed to reboot my Mac so often... I have tried deleting all caches etc and reinstalling the apps downloaded from my account... without succes I have cleared everything after using Ctrl on startup of publisher and now the app window appears, but then also hangs... and so does the Finder again... I am out of ideas and I need affinity publisher urgently for my business, thanks for any help, Sven
  6. Hi Affinity revolution people. I'm in love with all three producst on Windows, but there has been a huge problem for me for the last couple of versions. Totally suddenly, my Windows 10 (Version 1903 x64 KB4497165) stops reacting to all keystrokes, the mouse moves for approx 10 seconds, then freezes as well. This happens in Publisher only, no other application has ever behaved like this. I just have to perform a hard system reboot by pressing power button for 5 seconds, nothing else helps. I remember having the 1.7.2 for a long time and then jumping to 1.8.2 and 1.8.3 and the latest one I've spent a lot of time with is 1.8.3.641. All of them did this to me at some point. Regardless of the file I was working on, sometimes after a few seconds after starting up, sometimes after 2 hours of work. Thank God for the autosave. Previously I was accusing my Duet app, which is listed in the Windows troublemakers, but even without it installed the problem persists. My Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga P40 has both a dedicated GPU and an Intel integrated GPU, maybe the problems might stem from here. I'm not sure. Application Hang macOS - Designer Computer: iMac Retina 4K, 21.5, 2017, Radeon Pro 560 4 GB macOS: 10.14.6 (all updates) Designer: 1.7.2 Used the Duplicate command to copy a simple rectangular shape. After using Command J four (4) times I used Command S to save the recent changes. The application hung with a spinning beach ball and had to force quit to recover. Using Affinity 1.1.2 on Mac, system 10.7.5, when I export a document as EPS then go to the desktop, then come back to my document it has frozen, nothing is active and the spinning beach ball of death appears! Only force quit rectifies this! It happens every time, any ideas? Update - Just found the solution, downloaded the Beta version and it's fixed.
