I have the same misgivings as Kobold. It really is worrying when bugs keep appearing long after the final version is published. I hope Serif recognises that this is a problem.

Get a grip haakoo. I don't make recordings of my conversations with product reps. fde101, you are more measured in your responses and  you have been critical of some aspects of the products. I accept that. I really don't intend to say any more in this thread because it has degenerated into a verbal duel rather than a genuine discussion about the product/s. So, I'll wait and see how the products develop over the next few months. In the meantime I'll combine the strengths of the old and the new software; the new on mac and the old on pc.  Regards to all at Serif and Serif users like myself.

That's probably a good idea, Patrick.

I find the lack of line endings like arrowheads astonishing.  In fact, for certain kinds of simple drawings for presentations etc, Serif's DrawPlus 8 is far superior. Unfortunately I have changed from PC to Mac but when I want to do quick drawings  I revert back to an old PC and DrawPlus. Affinity Designer is quite good but certainly not as cohesive and elegant as DrawPlus when it comes to putting a quick drawing together. It strikes me that with Designer there was greater clarity of purpose and perhaps restriction to fewer designers/software developers.

    Hi,
Even if Affinity Designer is clearly not a technical drawing tool, I use this app quite often to draw technical plans, and I think it could be very interesting to add an option "Print gridlines" either in the print panel (AD section) or in the document configuration panel. This would be a simple workaround to the missing feature "working at scale". Adding lines on the document to fake a grid as suggested is just a nonsense.
Hope this feature will be add in a future release.
    Regards.

Just came here looking for this feature too. Too bad. Would like to print gridlines. Doing it manually will be a big pain. Maybe in the future...
    Thanks.
