I'm using Photo 2.3.1 along with OS 14.3 on a MBP 14" M1 and here you see the Problem: Asset is loaded. After the restart the Assetbrowser is empty ;-( - And what I saw is, that when dragging the asset on the programmwindow there is no prompt that it is installed. Do I have an old version downloaded? @walt.farrell here is a screenshot. All is greyed out

Hi there, I need to install the Normal_Map_Generator.afassets, but after dragging it on the programm window, it doesn't stay ;-( So I have to drag it in every time I start AF Photo. What am I doing wrong? Cheers, Thomas

Ich versteh's nicht. Ich habe es mit Doppelseiten (205) probiert, ich kann nur eine Breite angeben. Dann erscheint die Master-Doppelseite. Der lässt mich keine andere Breite angeben. Dann lege ich eine neue Doppelseite (202) an. Ich kann ja dann sagen "Seite hinzufügen". Da gebe ich dann die Master (202) an und sage 1 Seite danach. Er legt mir dann eine einzelne Seite dran - aber in 205. Ich vermute den Fehler bei mir.... weil der Fehler IMMER VOR der Tastatur sitzt

Hi out there, I have to do a wrapper for a magazine which has 6 pages. The titel is folded to the inside. I have to put them together. When I worked with InDesign I put the Masterpages beside one another. I'm sure that this works as well in AP. I do not find it in the helpsection. Is there someone with a hint? Thank in advance. Thomas

Hey Gabe, Problem solved. We converted the Client-PDF to PDF X-1a. Placed in AFPub. Exported as a PDF X-1a as well. Done. All is perfect.

An alle die das Problem aus diesem Thread haben. Das Problem ist gelöst!!!! Dank an LeoDesign. Die zu platzierende PDF-Datei musste in PDF X-1a gewandelt werden, die Exporteinstellungen in AFPub ebenfalls auf PDF X-1a, dann klappt's auch mit dem Überdrucken in der exportierten Datei.

Wenn es aber seit Jahr und Tag im InDesign problemlos geklappt hat, habe ich kein Argument eine Pauschale zu verlangen, nur weil ich das Programm wechsle. Der Kunde hustet mir was.

Das ist klar. Wenn die Einstellungen alle gemacht sind, dann klappt das alles. Auch das überdrucken und das mit dem 100% Schwarz. Ist ja bei mir auch richtig. Das Problem ist NUR das platzierte PDF. Das ist vom Kunden richtig angelegt, kommt aber in den schwarzen Texten 4c raus. Das ist nicht korrekt

Schade ich hatte schon gehofft, meinen Meister gefunden zu haben 😀 Leider ist das platzieren das Wichtigste. Stell dir vor, dass so ein Heft imm unter Druck ensteht. Da hat niemand die Zeit noch großartig mit Anpassungen und Acrobat hin und her zu eiern. PDFs rein und ab mit dem Heft zum Druckersmann. Ich guck mir das mit den Effekten und Vektorgrafiken mal an und melde mich bei dir...
