bwackv got a reaction from walt.farrell in Error exporting to PSD
@walt.farrell I said I was able to export another file, Walt, of the same dimensions. I did this to eliminate the possibility that it was too large of a file. I then tried exporting it to the desktop instead of to my icloud folder in case that was an issue. Anyways, issue resolved by Lee.

if you do ANYTHING with effects... like molasses. This taxes the GPU to the point where the fans kick in and so does the throttling. So gets slower the hotter it gets.
If you avoid using any effects, it's fine, until it's not.
Also, there's a bug in Affinity where it will use GPU even whilst backgrounded, in a different screen space. So you GPU will stay hot even when you switch away to Safari to keep up with Kanye's latest sermons.

    Hi LeviA

    Welcome to the forum!

You could right click the object with the gradient applied and select 'Create Style' and then apply the style to other objects :)

And you could copy the object properties from one shape to another by copying the source object and selecting Edit > Paste Style. Another neat trick …  ;)

Go to the home screen, check your preferences to ensure your default save location is iCloud, close preferences, select the three bars and rename your work, then press save. File will be saved to your Affinity  Designer folder in iCloud that will have been auto created by this step. This folder is accessible in finder on your Mac. Open file on your Mac. This all obviously assumes you are using iCloud on both iPad and Mac.

Just select 1 curve, and make sure its stroke is set to .5. Use the Edit/copy command, and then select all the others. Then use the edit/paste style command. This will transfer the .5 stroke attribute to all the selected at once.
