Hmmm, even when I try make a new document and place my Designer files in it it won't save. The Designer files is done in AD 1.8. Maybe this has something to do with it (placing a AD file in an APub file)? -
That's the problem - when I try to save it the app crashes too and never gets saved... saving is impossible... I maybe should go back to 1.7. for now. Can't upload the file as our security protocolls don't allow this (Dropbox and co is blocked).

Hey! Having issues with some old pre 1.8. files which can't be opened the normal way: The work around is to open the app alone AND create a new document. And then open the desired file. Without the file won't open and the app closes without any message. All the best, Chris

Do objects also disappear? I have the problem that some objects are just not in the output PDFs anymore (but the objects are in PNGs etc). Maybe the PDF output has a problem since the update.

Hey! I have found a quite annoying issue: The PDF export is wrong with certain constructions like this one - so that I have to expand the stroke and/or bake the corners before exporting. The exported PNG looks always fine, but the PDFs (tried various export presets) are always wrong: PNG vs. PDF See also the attached files. Hope this can be fixed - for now I have to double and triple check every PDF before sending. All the best, Chris pdf.afdesign PDF.pdf

Hey! I am really happy with the new 1.8 versions! Thank you so much, guys! Till now I have only found this odd thing (in all three apps the same). I guess the color format should update accordingly to the preset (print with CMYK and the rest with RGB) - at least at the start up until I change it manually: Just wanted to tell you - nothing bad I think. Hey! I do transit maps and diagrams for fun! Here is my approach to show the soon to be metro network of Sofia, Bulgaria. Lines M1 and M2 are in operation. I have already included the M3 line which is supposed to be operational this year. Posted this already on Reddit and other channels but I'd like to know what you think of what your feedback is too :-) Have a great day/night! Chris

Hey! I am not sure this is a bug or this is by design but for me it seems to be an inconsistency. See the animation. If you hide an instance of a symbol all others get hidden too. I don't expect this to happen because if you delete an instance of a symbol all the others don't get deleted. Should be the same with hiding in my opinion. Sometimes I have to hide only a single or several instances of a symbol but I can't do it and have to delete it instead... Maybe this could be changed in future? All the best, Chris

Hey you all! I do transit maps and diagrams for fun This time I tried to show how a Rotterdam+Den Haag metro network diagram could look like. Tried to include the major connections and also showing the train lines in the background. Have fun and constructive feedback is appreciated! Chris

Hey there :-) A tried to make a decent transit map for the Sidney light rail network that actually shows connections to other modes of transportation.
