  1. Any progress in that topic? It's frustrating when only software which have problem with opening pdf is Designer. All other apps work nice w that PDF. I tried to open this PDF and save as new pdf in Preview, PDF Expert and Adobe Illustrator. New file also crashes Designer in case od Preview and PDF Expert. However, exported file via Illustrator opened just nice in Designer.
  2. When I try to open certain pdf files the Designer crashes. Below I copied error message. I don't want to publish these pdf on public forum but I can send it to support via mail or other private message. How should I do it? Process: Affinity Designer [43219] Path: /Applications/Affinity Designer.app/Contents/MacOS/Affinity Designer Identifier: com.seriflabs.affinitydesigner Version: 1.6.1 (1.6.7) App Item ID: 824171161 App External ID: 826083165 Code Type: X86-64 (Native) Parent Process: ?
  3. So now it's basically broken by design if want to export quickly diffrent artboards to separate pdf for print. The main problem is that slices uses different units then the document. When I choose to work in milimeters then every aspect of the Designer should also work in milimeters. By design or not it is still a bug when after export I get diffrent size of document/artboard then the one wich I set.
  4. It's just artboard with one object - rectangle with stroke. Problem shows on zoom bigger then 2000% messy stroke display.afdesign
  5. But when you say "lagging" I understand that it is delayed but after some time it should be displayed correctly. However when it's broken that it is not going to be fixed with just waiting. Only zoom out or zoom in refreshes the view.
  6. Is setting stroke to 0,001 mm not enough? You can adjust decimal placeses for units in preferences.
  7. I would like to export basic "Artistic Text". I know that PDF keep it editable but in the same time makes totally mess with grouped objects. EPS export keeps grouped object but lose editable text. SVG export is useless when preparing for print, all DPI information are lost so dimensions are broken. Basically there is no good way to export work from AD and keep it editable in another software.
  8. Still a bug in situation when I create artoboard 94x100 mm, export and import and then have 94,06 x 100,08 mm. It's not true that Designer can't do it right. It can without any problem when exporting artboard via export dialog. Below export from the same file made by Export dialog. Artboard1 export dialog.pdf
  9. So it's a bug, because on MacOS there is no option like that. I hope it is there beacuse such a option is planned for next update. It's extremly important when exchanging data with different software.
  10. I have found bug which makes Export Persona totally useless when working with artboards with dimensions in milimeters. Slice dimensions are always pixels, so when exporting artboard/documents dimensions are transleted from mm to pixels and then again to milimeters. This process changes dimensions of final document (pdf). For example artboard 94,00 x 100,00 mm after exporting is 94,06 x 100,08 mm The only workaround which I found is using Export dialog. 11. Where exactly is that option? I would like to export EPS with editable text but I can't find that option in Export Persona.
  12. I found very annoying bug in Designer when stroke is diplaying incorectly on high zoom in and with guides and grid enabled. I haven't noticed that without any guide or grid. messy stroke.mov
