Hi @ricecrispies , You do not need to rasterize the image to delete parts. You can use the selection tool of your choice. Just make sure you have selected the correct layer.

Hi @a.beck, I'm afraid that you will have to purchase a Windows license. The Windows build is different and it requires an activation code.

Hi @darrylb, Welcome to the forums. In your case, I would really make the photo b/w. That would remove most of the glare. You can play with the colour sliders to get rid of most of the glare. Next, Clone tool and Inpainting tool would help you get rid of all the glare. See below. Thanks, Gabe.

Hi @denk, Welcome to the forums. Unfortunately, at the moment we do not have a Preview for the Spot Channels channels created in photoshop. Hi @DTC867, Welcome to the forum. We currently do not support importing the whole Library from Lightroom, as neither Photo or Designer work as a DAM. You will have to re-import the images intro Photo as there is no "migration" implemented at the moment. Thanks, Gabe.

HI @farshadatis, This thread explains the differences between the 2 products. In a nutshell, Design is more vector/shapes/symbols/assets creation focused, while Photo is more Photo-editing/adjustments/live filters focused. See below.

Hi @NikhilM, Welcome to the forum. If you don't have any presets or any custom brushes/actions/macros you can do a full reset of the app. Press CTRL pressed and open the app. With CTRL pressed, click on open. Hold down CTRL and you should see a "Clear User Data" pop-up. Click on "Select all" and then on Clear. This will reset everything from the app to the original state. Again, please make sure you don't need to save any custom work you've done in the app ( brushes, macros, preset, etc). Give that a go and let us know if you have any more issues. Thanks.

Hi @Ivykiddo, Welcome to the forum. There is no tool that will drop the image on the "correct" angle as the system cannot define what is the "correct" angle automatically. You will have to manually adjust the image. You can you the Rotate Tool and the Perspective Tool to achieve the result needed.

Hi @sprite~1, Live projection works by merging the layers together. However, you can use Perspective Tool and achieve the same effect. You can apply this to groups as well as layers. Thanks.

Get camera presets on raw image

Hi CoffeeCream, Welcome to the forum. Affinity would load the Raw file, not the embedded Jpeg, therefore you might see some slight changes. Your raw photo is missing some levels adjustments by the looks of it. Can you please attach the RAW file so we can have a look?

Hi rikkarlo, Welcome to the forum. Unfortunately, we don't have any dedicated z-depth plugin. I believe it would be more like a trial and error workflow, to find a workaround that would suit your needs. Or, some of our community members might have found a workaround.

Hi gerfoto, Welcome to the forum. You can simply choose the Move Tool(V) (after you placed/pasted the image) and resize it using the handles or the transform values in the bottom right corner.

Hi JonahTheScientist, Welcome to the forum. Both Affinity Designer and Photo are 2D apps, with no support for 3 axis rotation. You can "fake" the rotation by using the perspective tool but you won't have any control over the rotation angle. Thanks, Gabe.

Hi Etu, Welcome to the forums. We fully support Canon 700D. The proper way of importing RAW would be File>Import or Drag-Drop from Finder. Drag-drop from Photos app would only load the jpeg preview. Can you please upload a raw file to our Dropbox Account so we can have a look? Thanks, Gabe.

Open from iCloud with History?

Hi Poissonish, Welcome to the forums. This is currently a known issue and it's been raised to our Dev team already. In the meantime, there is a workaround for it. You will have to delete the Affinity Photo folder from your Icloud ( Make sure you saved all the content from the folder - if needed ) and recreate it with the same name, from Finder or your file explorer. This should allow you to save it to the same folder while keeping the history. Update: I've just heard back from the Dev team. It's an issue with IOS and not something that we would be able to fix. Hopefully, Apple would resolve this at some point. Thanks, Gabriel.
