I suppose it's a bug or incompatibility with Korean language. Japanese and Chinese(middle and right) have no hyphenation by default. Lines just break at the end of the text frame. Only Korean isn't shown like that. it rather look like Western language layout but no hyphenation. Probably because only Korean has spaces between clauses. So Affinity isn't recognizing language correctly.

@Big TreeHave you tried to set Hyphenation Language option to "none" on the Character pallet? Also uncheck "Use auto-hyphenation" option on the Paragraph pallet.

"Hyphenation" you mean is actual hyphenation that has hyphen symbol? Or just line break in the middle of a words? I don't see hyphens in Japanese/Chinese text but see line breaks in the middle of words. But that's normal in Japanese/Chinese writing.

Wine support at first would be practical I think.

There are more than 2 million Affinity users already, so yeah I think it wouldn't be so difficult. I too would commit to the campaign.

Like I mentioned, Serif won't run any fundraising campaign and has no interest. Though users could run a campaign and donate to Serif by them self.

+1 And vector based one please, unlike Photo's Perspective/Mesh Warp. Of course implementing it to Photo also would be nice.

Ctrl+C cause crash when a group has a procedural texture live filter. It seems that this happens when a group has a vector or an image layer together. Group that has only procedural texture or a pixel layer together is ok.

Standard version is "FREE", even Studio version is less than $300 onetime payment. It's node based software so rather similar to "Nuke" which used to be Hollywood's standard than AfterEffects. You may take a time to be accustomed, but it must be very capable.

Try Blackmagic Design's Fusion that's also included in Davinci Resolve. https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve/fusion Serif has no plan to create a video/motion graphics software as far as I know.

Finally I was able to recreate it again. And what I found is that "hollow" position changes depends on outline thickness. Sometimes inner position, sometimes outer position. hollow-outline.afphoto

This is also needed for smart object compatibility in order to import mock-up templates correctly. And need to be applicable to embedded documents too.

if Serif can raise half million US dollar on KickStarter, it might be possible. But Serif has no intention to run any fundraising campaign even for Windows/Mac/iPad version according to old comments in this forum. $50 x 10,000 = $500,000 So ten thousand people is needed. Also don't forget about KickStarter's commission that's around 10%.

@ErrkaPettiOne more thing I noticed is that Affinity rasterize vector objects and embedded documents after applied Mesh Warp to them. So mock-up templates that have Warp on smart objects can't be imported as is.

Warp(of Transform) on Smart Object and Warp Text on Text object will be ignored when a psd is imported to Affinity. Photoshop has vector based warp but only raster based. that might be related. Also there is no feature similar to Warp Text in Affinity.

ok, understand. I was suggesting this to reduce frustrated users. I don't care about 2001 problem much personally, so I'll stop talking about it. I don't wanna be a complainer.

I DO understand that but I'm just suggesting you to state that Affinity won't support 2001 at somewhere to clarify to all users or who is considering to buy.

That's ok but what do you think about this problem and if it won't be fixed, someone in Serif should explain it to users.

I saw the same problem with Quadro 1000M. old nvidia driver seems to be problematic.

@Dave HarrisTrovalds is asking you to publish an article why Affinity doesn't support 2001. I know it's because of PDFLib like I linked your comment above and not your fault, but it seems many people are having problem with it.
