Hi @ehrichweiss, What you believe you are seeing in your image or what you believe has happened is not actually what has happened. Your image shows that you have installed Affinity Publisher 1 and registered it to your Affinity Store account. Your image does not show any reference to V2 or any reference to a V2 licence being used. The details on your Affinity Store account reflect the same. On the positive side, everything appears to be working for you as it should be. -
Hi @Zidane, welcome to the Affinity forum. What is the duration of the Affinity V2 Universal license and for how many simultaneous devices? The Affinity V2 Universal license is bought to own and you can install on as many devices as you need for you own use. Does the license cover Affinity Designer 2, Affinity Photo 2 and Affinity Publisher 2 for this period? Yes Can I install it on windows 11? Yes

Hi @Zetax, welcome to the Affinity forum It sounds like you have download Affinity Designer 2 rather than the version that was available to purchase in 2019/2020. If you need to install version 1 again, run the Mac App Store and head to the "My Apps" area in your account. Hi @Crowstupify, welcome to the Affinity forum. As your Affinity app purchase was made through the Mac App Store it is tied to your Apple ID, and will also not require a Product Key. If you need to install it again, run the Mac App Store and head to the "My Apps" area in your account. Hi @Žarko Germek, welcome to the Affinity forum. Unfortunately we do not have an online upgrade path from V1 to V2 single app licences. We do offer discounts on our site from time to time which we announce on our social media channels. As soon as any discounts go live, you can be certain that we will announce them there first. Hi @Brian89450, welcome to the Affinity forum. Neither of the programs you mentioned required a product key during installation. Product keys were introduced with version 12 (X2). The issue you are more likely to run into is that neither of the those programs were designed to be compatible with Windows 7, and you would need to be using a computer running Windows XP or earlier to be able to continue using those products.

If you register any of your MS Store or App Store bought Affinity apps you would then have both an Affinity Store account and be eligible for the Universal Licence upgrade. Upgrade Trouble and Poor Customer Service

Hi @specworkfan, I can see that you already have an open ticket with my colleague Steve, however I just wanted to clear up what appears to me a slight misunderstanding. In your message you wrote the following... We have not actually offered a 40% discount (solely) to existing users. When the V2 apps were launch on November the 9th, we offered a 40% launch offer to early adopters (new and existing users could take advantage). That offer ran until January 25th and is no longer available unfortunately, it was a limited time offer and this is what my colleague referenced when he advised as such and apologised that you had missed the offer. Whilst the response was indeed short, it was polite and there wasn't much more that could have been added. I've no doubt there will be discounts again in the future as we do from time to time, and to ensure that you do not miss out you could keep an eye on our social media channels. Hi @rg19, welcome to the Affinity forum. The Universal Licence allows you to simultaneously install any of our three apps on as many Mac, Windows and iPad devices as you need for your own use. Our apps however, are not compatible with Android devices. -

Hi @Fernan, The currency shown on the site will default to that of your location. It is not possible to change the currency that you see in the store.

Paypal Button Doesn't Work

Hi @Ahmad Ghilman, We have been unable to replicate the issue you have reported. Here is some advice that hopefully may help. Please ensure that your web browser and anti-virus software is up to date, also check that there aren't any browser plugins that may be preventing the security window appearing (The Honey extension especially has been known to cause issues) or try a different browser such as Chrome or Firefox. Finally check that your firewall is not blocking any part of the payment process. -

Hi @svenland, welcome to the Affinityforum. Our Legacy accounts have now been archived and unfortunately it is no longer possible to access user accounts or the product keys that were generated. If you still have the software installed and registered on another machine you can locate the product key by selecting Help > Registration Wizard from the within the software.

V2 doesn't uninstall the V1 files!

Hi @Cyranose, V2 installs as a separate product and does not link with V1 in any way. There may be a reason that someone might want to keep V1 installed, I cannot think of any myself however. -
No Discover for Purchasing V2 … ?

Hi @Dr_No, Our payment portal provider does not accept Discover cards from Canada or the US, sorry. You can still apply the Discover card to a PayPal account an purchase via PayPal or you could use Visa or MasterCard. Alternatively our apps are sold through the App Store and Microsoft Store (as in-app purchases) where you may find a wider selection of payment options.
