  1. Hi @Onetonsoup22, Welcome to the Affinity forum. Could you please contact affinityorders@serif.com and they will be able to look in to this for you.
  2. Hi Islander, I can arrange for you to place an order for a redemption code which you can then pass on to allow the recipient to create their own account and receive the app through our site. If this is something you would like to do, please send an email letting us know your location and your preferred payment method to affinity@serif.com. (we offer PayPal, Credit/Debit card or bank transfer)
  3. Hi @Eliphant, Welcome to the Affinity forum. Unfortunately it is not possible to merge two Affinity Store accounts, sorry.
  4. Hi @Des, Welcome to the Affinity forum. If you are able to purchase it now, you can download it whenever you need it. The only issue might be that the App Store requires you to be using a compatible device in order to complete the purchase.
  5. I think this would be something better discussed via email rather than a public forum (affinity@serif.com)
  6. Hi @Foddo, Welcome to the Affinity forum. After purchase you can use the app for as long as you wish and will receive all future 1.x updates. 2.0 will require a new purchase but we do not have information just yet regarding when it may be available. We do not have any plans for German tutorials ourselves but there are a few content creators on YouTube who create German tutorials.
  7. Hi @Benedict Alubisia, I think we may have already spoken on the phone earlier today, but in the even that you are a different Benedict or someone else is viewing this page - our WebPlus line has now been discontinued and is no longer available for purchase. It may be possible to still find copies sold on Amazon or similar online marketplaces, but we would discourage buying a copy as the range is no longer supported or updated.
  8. Hi @maliboo2k4, Welcome to the Affinity forum. We do not offer exchanges, but if you email affinityreturns@serif.com to request a refund, you can them purchase the correct product.
  9. Hi @Milla, It is not possible to transfer Affinity Store purchases to the App Store. We can see that you have purchased a fair few licences directly through the Affinity Store as advise that if you do require any licences in the future, to contact corpsales@serif.com who may be able to assist you with business discounts.
  10. This is feedback is posted on behalf of a user who contacted affinity@serif.com to whom it may concern: I did a download Affinity Photo 1.7 Win and would like to provide the following feedback: Current work flow: Current work flow is to prepare raw image sets for pano stitching in Capture 1 and export them as tiffs; The tiffs are batch processed in Piccure and batch aligned in PTGui as layered and masked PSB files; these file are batch blended in PS; from then on processing is essentially manual but aided by actions for my most common tasks; I was looking to what extent Affinity could replace PS CS6 in my workflow. Overall summary of experience: At this stage I feel Affinity does have potential, but is still quite far away from being a PS alternative to be used in my workflow. However I wish it was an alternative to PS CS6, hence providing the detailed feedback. I'm looking for non subscription based alternatives as only with charges for upgrades there are incentives to develop worthy features for new releases. IMO subscription based offerings have the tendency to be stagnant with product considered to be mature and in maintenance mode. Software environment: Adobe PS CS6 x64 Various plugins from the following vendors: Nik; Topaz labs; Piccure; Imagenomic Raw Converter: Capture 1 version 10 Pano Merging: PTGui Computer hardware: CPU: i7 4930k RAM: 64Gb GPU: Nvidia Quadro M4000 8Gb Tablet: Wacom Intuos Pro L OS: Win 8.1 x64 on dedicated SSD; swap file, paging file and temp environment variables on separate dedicated SSDs; PS scratch disk on PCIe SSD; project working files on twin SAS HDD in RAID0; final works stored on NAS systems Screen main: 32” 4k 3840 x 2160 Screen supplement: 22” 1080 x 1920 portrait orientation Affinity photo tested with 39614 x 9968px stitched pano work file imported as a layered PSB file from PS: Trying to set up the Studio tiles on the supplement monitor: Is quite similar to PS but the lay-out cannot be saved as a custom setup; it takes a lot of time to set up from scratch from default and it got lost once after a program crash and needed to be set up again; every now and then I do something stupid in PS too and workspace gets messed up, but I just click on the various saved layouts to get them back; can't do this in Affinity Scratch Disk: I can’t see anywhere under “Preferences” that I can set up an overflow disk; with my files being quite large and plug ins being used, it would be preferable to manage distribution of data across the various disk drives on bigger systems like mine where there are choices. Menu Font Size: In Windows 8 there is no easy application based GUI font size scaling available and can only be affected via a manifest file; It would be good for Affinity Photo to include menu font size scaling options for high resolution monitors used with older OS. During the test some of the pull down menus did reduce temporally to some very small lettering (4mm high on a 32” 4K monitor) for some time (glitch) before reverting back to same size as the other pull down menus. Tool Icons: The tool icons look nice and colourful, but are in my opinion hard to recognise; PS tools are a lot more graphic and hence more distinct; suggest to think about colour not to make icons more fancy, but as an aid to separate tools better Tool settings: I could not see the buttons on my graphics pen activate any tool option break out dialogue but haven't fiddled with the Wacom interface to perhaps get something set up. GUI custom brightness sliders: The two sliders for brightness don’t seem have an effect at all, only the gamma slider and the bright/dark toggle work. There is no indicator for the gamma slider to make this setting consistent with the contrast settings during display profiling. Rulers: I couldn’t figure out how to change the rulers from pixels to mm. GPU acceleration: Lack of GPU hardware acceleration is already acknowledged by Sarif as being worked on. As is, some manipulations with my test file resulted in lengthy processing delays with Windows showing message that program is no longer responding; it just did take a little time to catch up on occasions once I build up a layer stack Blur and selection feathering limits: At present the blur limits (various tools) are just 100px which is nowhere near enough for smooth blending on high resolution images; I would not like to go back to anything less than a 5000px brush limit, 2000px Box blur, 1000px selection mask limit that is available in PS CS6. Work file saving: The resultant multi layer work file of the test session could not be saved. The PSD export created an error (probably file size too large) but pressing just save also failed. With this work file being based on an imported PSB file, I’m not sure whether this would require a “save as” approach, thought of this possibility too late. Program should offer alternative formats of original document format is not available.
  11. Hi @KingCereal, It is not possible to download App Store purchases from the Affinity Store. To download a previous Mac App Store order, open the Mac App Store and select 'Purchased'. You will be shown a list, which will include your Affinity app (You will need to be logged into the Mac App Store using the same account that was used to purchase the app). If you are unsure which Apple ID you used to purchase the app, then you will need to contact the Apple Support team.
  12. Hi @ch.t, Welcome to the Affinity forum. We do not offer bundles for single apps unfortunately and our iPad apps are currently sold exclusively through the Mac App Store. We do have discounts from time-to-time, and I would recommend signing up for our newsletter so that you do not miss any future offers. https://affinity.serif.com/signup/
  13. Hi @Aaron Martin, I'm unsure why this may be important, is this an indirect way of asking if there is an SVG version? If so, then this link could help - http://www.mynewsdesk.com/uk/affinity/latest_media - I don't believe there are SVG images, but there is this TIFF.
  14. Hi @djogon, Welcome to the Affinity forum. If you could send an email to affinity@serif.com letting them know exactly what you need, they may be able to help. Generally we offer a discount when purchasing all three apps together.
  15. Hi Remy, If you purchased Affinity Publisher in the last 14 days, then you can email affinityreturns@serif.com and request a refund to repurchase through the MAS. Unfortunately we do not offer refunds for purchases made over 14 days ago.
  16. Hi @Heavy Chef, Welcome to the Affinity forum. Two separate accounts are indeed required. Not all Affinity users will have purchased through the Affinity Store as our apps are also sold through the Mac App Store and the Microsoft Store. To avoid any confusion of some users having an account by default of purchasing through our store and others not having an account, the forum is here as its own separate entity and users can choose whether or not they wish to create an account.
  17. Hi @Nik1, Welcome to the Affinity forum. You can use Affinity apps on as many devices as you require for your own use providing that they are the same operating system. For example, if you purchase a Mac licence, you can install on as many Macs as you require for your own use.
  18. Hi @cocoazenith, To place an order with an EU VAT number, please contact affinity@serif.com with the following information. They'll send you a proforma and advise how to make payment. Billing address Mac or Windows licence Valid email address for licence Currency Preferred payment method EU VAT Number
  19. Hi @sfb, That is a good question and the answer is VAT, which as (I suspect) you are a UK citizen are entitled to pay on all purchases.
  20. Hi @gordoshootsraw, Welcome to the affinity forum. As mentioned in the email "we’ve slashed the prices of all our content packs in half". The Affinity apps and Workbooks are not included in the current offer, but it is a great time to grab one of the packs. Just follow the link in the email to be taken straight to the content pack page.
  21. In the email... ...is written after "so as a thank you, we’ve slashed the prices of all our content packs in half". The email is pretty clear as to what is discounted providing the entire email is read
  22. Hi @BlakeH, Walt has already hit everything on the head, and you will need to discuss this with Apple. A product key is not issued for App Store purchases, the licence is verified through the App Store and linked to an Apple ID.
  23. Hi @didymus7, Welcome to the Affinity forum. I'm sorry to hear that your entire order did not arrive, could you please contact affinityorders@serif.com with your name and order number and the team there will be able to look in to this for you.
  24. Hi @Mr Lucky, Our store and our marketing email subscription are two separate entities, so it is possible to have one and not the other. I suspect that you purchased Photo and Designer through either the Mac App Store or the Microsoft Store and as such you do not yet have an account on our store. Please use the "New to Affinity" and you will be able to create an account and access the Publisher trial.
  25. Hi @titulinus, Welcome to the Affinity forum, should you wish to post queries about any of our Legacy applications, please do so on the relevant forum here. That said, this specific post may help; https://community.serif.com/tutorials/details/114502/how-to-export-movieplus-unlock-codes-for-use-on-a-new-computer
