The right example is working for me as I showed in my previously reply.

Will the quality be the same? I haven't tried PDF printing yet, but I'm about to open a store and need prints, menu's and pictures galore.
All the online printing service companies I used to use only accept PDF ( PDF (PDF/X1a or PDF 1.3), JPG, TIFF, EPS, PS (not to mention CMYK-colors are essentially required) - but no open documents.

While the SVG standard supports linking you can try to edit the file in a text-editor and add it manually.
Should look like something as:
id="a8232"
target=""xlink:href="https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/20679-can-i-add-links-to-slices-in-ad/"><imagewidth="66.585808"height="66.585808"preserveAspectRatio="none"xlink:href="data:image/I attached a example file here: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/20679-can-i-add-links-to-slices-in-ad/
(If you don´t mind you can use Inkscape for that purpose)

Out of curiosity, which export formats that Affinity supports also support embedded, clickable web links? I believe PDF can but I'm not sure about any of the others.
SVG supports linking.
Open the attached SVG in your browser (just tested on Safari/SeaMonkey) and click the image (will lead you to this thread).CheersP.- R C-R and Clara Montseny

Yes - good point. I didn´t explore the "Square Star Tool" that much it seems. :D
(Having it non-destructive would be a cool addition of course or the ability to scale/transform selected objects independently)

Just take my reply as a hint on "winding rules" of Bèzier-splines - I know nothing about your workflow.

Wasn´t aware of the shape was one at the beginning and got destroyed - then he could get back in History no?

When you reverse one curve before you´re joining the two it´s just 2 clicks: Join+close.

Seems the advise you received is a bit vague. If you´re expecting Affinity Designer will draw it for you ("autotracing" is what you´re looking for maybe) this isn´t possible yet. If you want to trace it manually then all the tools are there. For the scan: Preview.app can help to improve your raster image for sure - but´s not necessary for manual tracing.

Why not put each changes into a separate group - you can toggle on off for export and have all progress in one file - no?

Please let us access the guides without switching tools like other vektor.apps do.
Thanks for listening.

I wished handles would at least snap to something at all. ;) (so you can mark it´s position and let it snap after moving the point at least)
Is there a way to enable guides with the Node-Tool? I find it laborious to switch back and force Move- and Node-tool while I have to because I can´t see the handles when in Move-mode - so to speak. So how do you align a guide to a node?

No - not in my opinion because for instance the size is correct if you have the cut outside and not centered.
But everyone has its own workflow. :D
