Can you please confirm the model of your printer and are you printing directly from your iPad as when I print your PDF file or create a new one using the .afdesign file the print looks the same as onscreen and the PDF file

Affinity Designer does not have the option of exporting text within a EPS file, this may be something that we may add in a later version of Designer -

Why is snapping always turned off?

This is strange Affinity Designer remembers the snapping settings and when you next open the app it should have the same settings, can you please try restarting your iPad to clear any temporary files and see if the snapping stays enabled. -
The MacBook Pro's are designed for passive cooling but when a load is placed on the CPU or GPU then the fans will spin up to remove the excess heat generated, on a Mac the CPU usage values relate to the number of cores being used so 800% means that eight cores are being used and 350% means the three and half cores are being used

The new iMacs have the new Metal 2 which the new 1.7 versions of the Affinity apps support and this improves performance over the previous versions of metal, as to which graphics card to choose this is down to the other requirements that you may have for the iMac as all three graphic card options support Metal 2
