  1. Completely agree. I'm subscription saturated.
  2. Thanks for your reply Patrick. I've had the 22000.194 co_release build installed for a few days now and Designer seems to work just fine.
  3. Hi All, With Windows 11 being officially released on 05OCT, is Affinity Designer compatible with it? Thanks
  4. +1 vote for the photo management component. Since digital photo's became 'a thing', storing, filing, naming, searching, tagging, and browsing photo's has become an evil downside. I cannot be the only person on the plant who remembers old school photo albums with their generic landscape covers! I knew exactly which album to open to find the photo I wanted. Now days, I have USB sticks, external hard drives, and a Synology NAS, and recalling where a particular photo is, is like navigating a complex city at night in a sea fog; frustrating. On my 'there must be a creative bone in here somewhere' journey of learning to draw, I recently discovered Affinity Designer for iPad, and bought it, and have also now bought the Windows version also. Photo management software is an absolute necessity for people with more than a hanful of photo's, and I ask @Serif introduce a component for this. I ask for these (probably rudimentary) features as a starting point, and I'm sure others will have additional feature requests: Search and sort by: name date Geographic location (where files contain such exif data) people tags (manual, but automatic would be a nice feature also such as in Photoshop Elements Organizer) Processes: Facial recognition (humans, and animals if possible. Cameras now have animal eye detection!) Duplicate file finder based on exif data (duplicately named files will be captured by name sort) View: exif data Well, that's enough for this brain dump, I hope my thoughts and comments help in our quest. Cheers!
  5. Hi Everyone, Jason here from Sydney, Australia. Newbie to design. I struggle to find a creative bone in my body, so far I've just come up with a bag of elbows, but I'm giving it a crack. I have always wanted to learn to draw, and do my own thing, so about 18 months ago I got an iPad and Pencil, and started at the beginning, with ProCreate. I had never heard of rasters! However, I researched and learned basic skills, and set up a RedBubble page with some rudimentary designs, and stylised photos that I'd taken over the last 3 decades as a starting place. About 2 months ago I started to delve more into the instructional videos on SkillShare, and hear the word 'vectors' for the first time. Seeing a fantastic new way to create, I immediately switched over to Vectornator. Well it would have been around 2 weeks later I heard one of the instructors mumble some other software name that he recommended, and because the subtitles didn't make any sense at all, I reached out and asked for the name; my connection to Affinity Designer was born Well, I love it, man do I love it. What a fabulous piece of kit. Now I feel like I have a product for the long haul, with such room to learn and grow and catch up with all that Designer can do. I want to absorb all that I can so that I can make this a past time, and maybe, just maybe earn enough out of it to not have to work full time anymore. Anyway, thanks for reading. Cheers.
