GRScott
It is driving me crazy. How do I turn off the guide lines that show up when I am drawing with the pen? My snapping is turned off. I keep snapping to these guide lines points and when trying to move a point they want to snap to the guide point (perspective lines). Quote Gregg OS X Version 10.14.6 iMac 27" 3.2 GHz i5- 32 GB Huion Kamvas Pro 20 iPad Pro 12.9" IOS 13 AD = OS IOS, AP = OS IOS
rui_mac
Simply press Command if you want to turn it off temporarily.Or, to completely turn it off, turn off the Snap to selected curves option on the top.
Staff MEB Posted September 2, 2014 Staff Share Posted September 2, 2014 GRScott, You have to uncheck the Snap to selected curves on the context toolbar for the pen tool. See attached image. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Staff MattP Posted September 2, 2014 Staff Share Posted September 2, 2014 There is every chance that this will be off by default when a new user comes to the application, but we really wanted people to actually try this out and let us know if there were any problems during the beta. GRScott
Thanks everyone. I thought I had tried that (unchecking the Snap to selected curves) before. Back to Happy Face. :) Maybe it's a memory issue. My memory. :D Quote Gregg OS X Version 10.14.6 iMac 27" 3.2 GHz i5- 32 GB Huion Kamvas Pro 20 iPad Pro 12.9" IOS 13 AD = OS IOS, AP = OS IOS
