kat
Going back and forth from layers panel, wacom and mouse regularly inserts leftover text from other programs like browser or text editor. How to I clear clipboard to stop AP from adding text layers?
walt.farrell
There's certainly no function in the Affinity applications to clear the clipboard, kat. There might be some other application for your OS that would do that, depending on which OS you run. As you probably know, the only thing that should insert text from the clipboard is if you're clicking on Edit > Paste, or right-clicking in the Layers panel and choosing Paste, or typing Ctrl+V, or pressing some button on your Wacom tablet that you have configured for Paste. Perhaps you can figure out which of those you're doing? R C-R
Short answer: don't use any of the paste options when there is text on the Mac clipboard. You must be doing that somehow because otherwise AP will not try to paste anything into the document.
