mugs Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 I am having difficulty importing brushes that I downloaded from https://www.brusheezy.com/free/affinity-designer Has anyone used this free source for brushes? The are in .abr format however when I attempt to import using the brushes contextual menu, I get an error. Thank you for help. Quote
walt.farrell Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 There's a known bug with 1.7.2 that prevents import of many .abr files. Serif is working on this, but have not said when they expect a fix to be available. mugs Posted September 12, 2019 Author Posted September 12, 2019 Thanks Walt for the quick reply. This is a pretty nasty bug for those of us who wish to add brushes. I understand v1.7.3 is in beta and available for download. Maybe I’ll give a whirl and see if it’s fixed. Quote
TFerz Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Had this same issue today. Thanks for explaining, Walt! Quote
walt.farrell Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 You're welcome, @TFerz and @mugs. It should be fixed (from what I've read) in the 1.7.3 beta, but that beta is not yet available for customer testing as far as I know. It's still being tested internally by Serif.
