eobet Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 The only option is "Affinity layers", but Photoshop still opens it as a single-layer document: Since I'm working in 32-bit as you can see, and the PSD export option didn't have a color depth option, I had to use the TIFF export. (The PSD export also was a bad result, since the masks were just filled with garbage noise... perhaps because I was using two masks per layer, which Photoshop doesn't support, but Affinity should know this and merge the masks to one, which would be an acceptable result.) Staff Callum Posted July 19, 2019 Staff Posted July 19, 2019 Hi Eobet, TIFF files don't actually contain layer data apps like PhotoShop and Affinity have the option so save their project files in side a TIFF file. This means if you open the TIFF back up in the app it was exported in its layer data will be retained. As far as I'm aware at the moment there are no apps that can read layered TIFFs made in other apps. Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
Fixx Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 Still Photo opens Photoshop generated layered TIF files just fine... it should not be impossible to make it work vice versa. Quote
