Is it possible to transfer my apple store purchase to my affinity account?

Recommended Posts

I purchased a copy of Affinity Designer from Apple Store by mistake, is there anyway to transfer my purchase from the apple store to my affinity account?

Hi @Tiga Wu,

Welcome to the Affinity forum.

Unfortunately it is not possible to transfer App Store purchases to an Affinity Store account.

Question somehow related - is it possible to swap licences bought on Windows to Mac OS?

No, it is not possible.

The only exception would be during the initial "return for refund" period if the store you purchased from allows that. For purchases from the Affinity Store you have a 14-day refund period, and during that time you could return the Windows product and repurchase for Mac. After that time you can't return the product, and would simply have to repurchase.
