Hi Angelos58 :)

Apologies for the delayed response, this gesture was correct in v1.6 and allowed you to move the object about the canvas before placing it. I can see this is no longer the case in 1.7 and currently I'm unsure whether this was an intended change and the documentation requires updating, or whether this is a bug and the gesture should still be useable.

I'll log this with our developers now and respond here in due course!

The dev report has since been updated, this change was intended to make the behaviour more consistent across tools. This is now with our documentation team so the help file can be changed for the next update. Many thanks for bringing this to our attention!
