bleed content visible in designer persona

Hi!

I can see the bleed margins, but i can't see the content when i'm trying to edit it.

I only see the bleed content in the pdf.

Is there any way i can see the bleed content?

Hi valdemarlamego

Please go to View>View Mode and make sure Clip to Canvas is set to off. Please also double check that View>Show Bleed is set to on. I hope this helps!

Thank you,... but "Clip to Canvas" is grey, and i can't click on it, it's always on. It shows the bleed but not the content.

Do you have a document open currently? Otherwise you will not be able to select this option!

Yes! I tried with an open document, and with no document... i also tried to restart.

I also tried with other documents,... and a new one.

My current version is 1.7.1 for mac Mojave.

Does your document contain Artboards?

yes! i've tried also with just one artboard, and the problem remains.

With no artboards i can see the bleed content.

But i think that this is a thing that should be seen with or without artboards.

Thanks for confirming that, with Artboards in your document the Clip to Canvas option is disabled.

You can set bleed for artboard documents, but currently in Affinity the bleed area is not displayed for documents containing Artboards. This has been logged with our developers as an improvement for future builds!

I'm wondering if this option improvement will be available ?
I am also finding very annoying that this bleed area is hidden when using artboards (using 1.8.3 on osx)

Still occurs in the latest Affinity Designer 2.
